Graduate students with international backgrounds are at the heart of Queen’s Smith School of Business’ mission: “To develop outstanding leaders with a global perspective and create new knowledge that advances business and society”. Smith maintains international exchange partnerships with over 100 respected business schools in over 35 countries and welcomes more than 300 international exchange students annually.
To earn this certificate/credential, exchange students spend a term (four months) at Queen's participating in either the Master of International Business or the Master of Business Administration programs, benefitting from Smith’s distinctive features: exceptional learning atmosphere, personal attention, highly engaged faculty, and a powerful sense of community. Graduate students will experience a demanding, dynamic learning environment that includes classes, teamwork, projects, presentations, consulting projects, living cases and/or exams. Areas of specialization can include entrepreneurship, social impact, investment banking, accounting, marketing, consulting, international business, human resources and more.
Through Smith’s International Exchange Programs, students increase their global awareness, learn about global business, and take their learning in and outside of the classroom onto their future educational and career achievements. In addition to academics, student can participate in clubs, competitions, sports, and volunteering opportunities for a well-rounded experience.
