Leading Sustainable Change

Leading Sustainable Change Towards a Net-Zero Economy is a free cross-institutional program offered to Queen's University undergraduate students through the Queen's Venture Creation, Experiential Learning, and Net-Zero Training (QVENT) Project. This program is designed to provide students with the foundational skills and perspectives required to tackle complex issues related to social impact, circular economy, and more specifically focused on the transition to a net-zero economy. Eligibility Requirement: Undergraduate students are eligible to receive the credential if they complete five of the seven in-person workshops and one virtual workshop. The program is a series of 8 workshops, seven in-person and one virtual, each 2.5 hours long. The workshop topics are: - Design and Systems Thinking - Climate Landscape - Circular Economy & Emerging Technologies and Economic Models - Environmental Sustainability & ESG Reporting - High-Performance Teamwork - Advancing the UN SDGs & Policy Considerations - Green Business Solutions - Lifecycle and Techno-Economic Analysis
